Club Info

Warwick Model Flyers has been an active model flying club since 1970/71. It became affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (formerly SMAE) from 1st January 1990.

The Club operates a private flying site between Daventry and Southam by arrangement with a local landowner. No one can fly at the site without BMFA insurance and (unless they are a guest or visitor) must have paid the club subscription. Non-members have no right to use the club site.  Please do not  drive round trying to find it and just turn up at the field. – if you want to join us we supply you with information as to how to find the field and arrange that there are people around to welcome you.

If you wish to join us make contact with us through the contact form on this website, and an application form will be forwarded to you.

At our flying site we fly all types of radio control models:  Internal combustion (glow and petrol), electric planes, EDF, gliders (Club Members have produced an excellent bungee launch system) and helicopters but not jet turbines. We can fly every day of the week between 10:00 and dusk.
