A group of WMF members have laboured over the summer to upgrade the leaking hangar roof. The existing roof had failed in several places and was in danger of causing a bucket shortage. Despite delays caused by searing temperatures the new roof is now complete. A big thank you to all who took part, these improvements should improve run-off and keep the hangar watertight for many more years.

Chairman’s Trophy
This year the Chairman’s Trophy was awarded jointly to Peter Simpson and Malcolm Dearing for organising the cleaning of the hangar after lockdown. It was good to see so many members turn up on the ‘clean up’ weekend and get stuck in.
