Welcome to the Warwick Model Flyers web site
5th November 2020
In line with the new legislation and BMFA advice, the committee has decided to put the flying site into lockdown again and all flying must stop with immediate effect. The flying site will remain in lockdown until further notice.
Warwick Model Flyers has been an active model flying club since 1970/71 and affiliated to the BMFA since 1990. We operate a private flying site between near Southam, Warwickshire. Our members fly all types of radio control models: IC (glow and petrol), electric, EDF, gliders and helicopters but not jet turbines.
Unfortunately we have a large waiting list and are not accepting any further applications at the moment
As we are no longer publishing a newsletter this is now our main communication channel. If any of our members have items they think other members would be interested in then please click here to upload them.
It is hoped that members will make the effort to contribute items, for example, have you been working on a winter project – why not send some photos and a short description?
For information on the effect of Coronavirus on model flying click here to go to the BMFA web page.
A section has been created for Top Tips where anyone can contribute any modelling tips they have. Please pass on your knowledge to the less experienced and less well informed!
If you notice any inconsistencies or pages or links that don’t work then please let us know. Any feedback on the site will be warmly received whether positive or negative. Honest!
